New Mexico's high elevations and clear skies are ideal for capturing solar energy, and A-1 Self Storage is proud to announce that it completed installation of solar photovoltaic panels at almost all our properties in the summer of 2011. Our decision to convert to solar power will save about 487,658 kilowatt-hours of energy per year. Not only that, our conversion to solar power will also prevent approximately 975,316 pounds of carbon from being emitted into the atmosphere each year!
